1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Pepties mobile application ("App") and related services
("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these
Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Pepties ("we," "our,"
"us").
2. Description of Service
Pepties is an AI-powered health management application that enables users to:
- Upload medical reports (blood tests, lab results) for AI-powered analysis.
- Receive AI-generated health summaries, tips, trends, and insights.
- Chat with an AI health assistant (PeptiesAI) about their health data.
- Share health dashboards with connected family members.
- View daily health tips from external health databases.
Important: Pepties is a health information tool, NOT a medical device or healthcare
provider. Please see our Health Disclaimer for important
limitations.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid phone number to register. Authentication is handled through OTP (One-Time
Password) verification via Firebase Authentication.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and phone number.
- You must provide accurate and complete profile information (name, date of birth, gender, blood
group).
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Pepties only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Upload content that is not a legitimate medical document (spam, malicious files, etc.).
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the App's security or AI systems.
- Use the Service to provide medical advice to others or represent AI outputs as professional medical
opinions.
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Service.
- Misuse the family sharing feature to access health data without genuine consent.
5. Health Data & Reports
- You retain ownership of all medical reports and health data you upload to Pepties.
- By uploading reports, you grant us a limited license to process your data using AI for the purpose
of providing the Service (analysis, insights, chat responses).
- AI-generated analyses (summaries, tips, FHIR data, trends) are generated for your personal
informational use only.
- You may delete your reports and associated data at any time through the App.
6. Family Sharing
- The family sharing feature allows mutually connected users to view each other's health dashboards
and report summaries.
- Connection requests must be explicitly accepted by both parties.
- Either party may remove the connection at any time, immediately revoking data access.
- You are responsible for only connecting with individuals you trust and consent to sharing your
health data with.
7. AI and Automated Processing
- Pepties uses Google Gemini AI to process your medical reports and generate insights. AI outputs are
automated and may not always be accurate.
- AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and should never replace
professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated analysis.
8. Intellectual Property
- The Pepties App, its design, logos, branding, code, AI models, and all associated content are the
intellectual property of Pepties and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of the Service
without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Pepties is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without
warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any health decisions you make based on AI-generated insights.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your
use of the Service.
- Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid
for the Service (if applicable).
10. Termination
- You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting admin@pepeties.in.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in
harmful behavior.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as
required by law.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the
App or via the email associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after changes take
effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising
from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
